This crawler shot blasting machine is a standard product of our company after several generations of improvements. It is suitable for cleaning workpieces that are not prone to collision, such as steel castings, forgings, riveted and welded parts, and iron castings. The GN series steel crawler shot blasting machine features the following characteristics:  A torsion-resistant, high-rigidity body shell.  A rational chain drive system and geometric motion principle, ensuring that the sturdy, overlapping crawler plates remain consistently flat and connected.  High-quality cast chain links, precision-machined and hardened.  Hardened and ground chain pins that maintain minimal tolerance gaps even after prolonged load operation.  Advanced human-machine environment for easy maintenance: (1) All bearings are installed outside the blasting chamber. (2) All fasteners for protective plates are mounted outside the blasting chamber, making them easy to replace and preventing wear from the shot blast flow. (3) The upper and lower positions of the material door are controlled by limit switches, with safety limit switches for monitoring. (4) The material door uses an electric opening and closing mechanism, with a compact structure and a reducer-driven wire rope hoist for convenient and safe operation.

I. Equipment Composition

This equipment mainly consists of a shot blasting cleaning chamber, a door hoist, a shot blasting unit assembly, a screw conveyor, an elevator, a separator, a shot supply system, a maintenance platform, a dust collector, and a crawler drive system.

1.1 Shot Blasting Cleaning Chamber

The chamber body is welded from steel plates and profiles. The parts that may be impacted by shots are lined withZGMn13 wear-resistant liners, which are processed by automatic laser cutting for a neat appearance and easy replacement. Access doors are provided on both sides and the rear wall of the chamber for inspecting, adjusting, and replacing the tracks.

1.2 Track Drive System

The entire track is assembled by bolting track shoes and left and right chain links together. The track shoes are cast fromZGMn13, and the left and right chain links are made of20CrMnMo. The track is driven by a worm gear reducer, ensuring very smooth rotation.

1. 3End Plate

Both ends of the track are equipped with end discs made of steel plates, with high-chromium wear-resistant guard plates installed on the inner side of the discs. The bearing housings mounted on the chamber wall are sealed and filled with grease to support the end discs, and the end discs can be adjusted in various directions.

1.4 Door Device

The door is raised and lowered by a double-stage reducer installed at the top, which drives a drum to open and close the door, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. The inner wall of the door is lined with replaceable wear-resistant guard plates, and the rollers at the bottom of the door move smoothly along fixed rails. A labyrinth seal is provided around the door to prevent shot spillage and to avoid clogging caused by shot between the door and the sealing device. A baffle plate on the inner side of the door prevents workpieces from accumulating between the door and the track.

1.5 Shot Circulation System

The shot circulation system includes the bottom hopper, screw conveyor, elevator, separator, shot supply gate, and shot blasting wheel. The shot flows by gravity from the storage hopper below the separator, passes quantitatively through the shot supply gate into the shot blasting wheel, and is thrown from the high-speed rotating shot blasting wheel to clean the workpiece. The thrown shot passes through the track plates, bottom hopper, screw conveyor, and elevator into the separator. After separation by the separator, qualified shot enters the storage hopper for reuse by the shot blasting wheel. Separated larger particles flow out from the waste pipe, while fine dust enters the dust removal system for purification. Debris on the bottom hopper screen and separator screen should be cleaned regularly.
